I received OUTSTANDING service from AAMCO Transmission. They were able to save me half the cost for a transmission rebuild on my 2014 Raptor. They even towed my truck free of charge to their shop - great customer service! I really appreciated their honesty and hard work in rebuilding my transmission. My truck is back to driving so smooth and the torque feels so much more powerful too! Matt was super helpful and kept me informed through the whole repair job— you can really tell they are a trustworthy shop. Thanks Matt for reassuring me and taking care of my beautiful bad-ass Raptor!! You guys have my business in the future! I will definitely be recommending you guys to everyone and anyone looking for a great mechanic! Keep up the great work!
I have a very strong background in auto maintenance and repair. Throughout my 40 years of experience, I have worked with many auto technicians, and none have risen to the level of Shannon O'Gorman. He is expert, honest, and practical in his repair work and his recommendation advice. Over the years he has rebuilt/repaired 2 different transmissions for me with 100% satisfaction. I, like others in these reviews have gone to Shannon and his sons for expertise troubleshooting & advice and received honest assessments that were of no financial reward to them. I wish I could say that this was NOT rare but for myself it is rare. So many times, when I have had to rely on auto expertise outside my own, I am given a repair that 'did not fix the problem' only to be told, 'Yeah it ALSO something else'. Troubleshooting is hard, especially for someone like me who does NOT see the problems day-in-day-out. Jenkins Volvo once sent my wife off with a newly installed 'cracked' spark plug and a loose muffler. I diagnosed the cracked spark plug after they told me they'd have to start charging me for the troubleshooting of their repair. You will NEVER get this type of treatment with Shannon & Sons they are the best Transmission service guys out there !!! The best, period!
When my "check engine" light came on, a transmission problem was indicated. The mechanics checked over my 20 year old Sebring convertible thoroughly and said the transmission was fine, but the light may be part of an electrical problem that I have been putting up with for months, a problem that continually drains the battery. They said electrical issues weren't their specialty, but recommended another small business nearby. There was no charge for their expertise!
